5. Subscription and Payment Information

ExamWise offers premium features through subscriptions. Our handling of subscription and payment information is as follows:

  • Payment Processing: All iOS In-App Purchase payments are processed by Apple. We do not collect or store your credit card numbers, bank account numbers, or other payment instrument information

  • Transaction Records: We may retain basic subscription transaction records (e.g., transaction ID, plan type, transaction date) for customer support and troubleshooting purposes

6. AI-Generated Content

ExamWise uses AI technology (including Google Gemini API and OpenAI API) to generate explanatory content for exam questions, including text explanations, detailed question analyses, and visual explanations, helping users understand question content more effectively. Our data processing practices for AI content generation are as follows:

  • Data Processing: We use Google Gemini API and OpenAI API to process question data for generating explanatory content. Only question text, options, and answer explanations are sent to the AI service — no personal user information is included
  • Quality Enhancement: The generation process incorporates web search tools to gather information, cross-referencing multiple sources to improve the quality and accuracy of explanations
  • No Personal Data Transmitted: Your name, email, learning records, and other personal information are never sent to any AI service
  • Error Reporting: ExamWise provides an in-app error reporting feature that allows you to report errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content. When you use the error reporting feature, we collect the description of your report, related question information, and your user ID (for tracking processing progress). This data is used solely to improve content quality

7. Push Notifications

The ExamWise iOS App may send push notifications to enhance your learning experience:

  • Device Token: When you authorize push notifications, Apple generates a Device Token, which we store to send notifications to your device
  • Notification Content: Push notifications may include study reminders, new feature announcements, or system maintenance notices
  • Can Be Disabled: You can disable push notifications at any time in iPhone Settings > Notifications > ExamWise
  • Not Used for Advertising: We do not use push notifications to send third-party advertisements

10. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption, access controls, and regular security assessments. However, internet transmissions cannot guarantee 100% security, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of information.
